Arlo "Zven" Graves
they/them
Arlo “Zven” Graves grew up in rural California mountains surrounded by nature and all the magic it contains. They’re lucky enough to live in their childhood community, in a once abandoned cabin.

Zven lives with a condition called mixed connective tissue disease; think a cousin of lupus. After a particularly bad flare up in 2020, Zven realized how much they wanted to see chronic illness represented in the fantasy adventure stories they loved reading, to see characters find purpose and fulfillment, even without a magical cure.

Zven has a degree in creative writing from the University of California Santa Cruz. Their short nonfiction, Gerald: a Memoir, won the Stories That Need to be Told 2023 grand prize, and their debut novella, Black Rose from Graveside Press, released early 2025.

Molly Haniszewski
they/them, she/her
Molly is a queer, non-binary person with ADHD and autism. She is an avid baker who loves to forage for ingredients in the mountains near her home. Hiking and camping trips offer her lots of opportunities to identify wildflowers and teach her daughter about the natural world.
She has a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Whitworth University. She has had poetry and creative nonfiction published in Montana Woman Magazine, Into the Beautiful: Daring, and several other literary journals and magazines.

Bethany Tap
she/her
Bethany Tap (she/her) is a queer writer, wife, and mom of four. Her poems and stories have been published in Litmosphere, Fahmidan Journal, Yellow Arrow Journal, and The MacGuffin, among others.
Her debut novel, Upon the Burning, is forthcoming in 2025 with Midnight Meadow Publishing.

Wren Ryer
she/her
Wren grew up near Kennett Square, PA, also known as the Mushroom Capital of the World–though ironically, she hates mushrooms. She began writing stories in the margins of her school notebooks, often gazing out the window and losing herself in her imaginary worlds. When she's not writing, she's usually deep in the woods on a hiking trail, practicing with her rowing team, or training her Black & Tan Coonhound.
She has a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and is now pursuing a Master's in Communications, where she continues to refine the art of storytelling. The Crow's Parlor is her debut novel.

Sarah Goehrke
she/her
Sarah Goehrke (she/her) has been a writer/editor by professional trade since 2007, establishing a targeted editorial services business for 3D printing in 2018. With her most recent publishing credentials in technology ranging from Forbes to advanced manufacturing trade press, Sarah is now focusing on speculative fiction. She is a dedicated wordsmith and DEI/community advocate, including Board experience with three nonprofit organizations. She has keynoted on three continents, officiated a handful weddings, acted on dozens of theatrical stages, and lost count of her tattoos.
