The Keepers

Magic and those who wield it have little place in Sanverra or the Cardinal Lands. The queens who rule these realms may take advice from witches, but never fully trust them. Aleris, adopted into the ambitious Orcharder family as a second daughter, does all she can to hide the magic she was born with from the family who took her in—until she no longer can.
